iPad Adjective Activity.
Easily integrate two iPad apps into your reading workshop, guided reading, literacy center, or writing workshop plans with this low-prep & creative activity. Use the included planning and directions sheets to list 10 adjectives describing an object (one in the classroom or brought from home), to use the thesaurus app to juice up your words, to take a picture of your object, and finally to layer the words over the photo using WordFoto.
Packet includes everything your students need to complete the project on the apps independently:
★ 2 Visual step-by-step student direction pages for using the paid app WordFoto.
★ 1 Visual step-by-step student direction page for using the free app Dictionary to find synonyms.
★ 2 sets of drafting sheets – wide ruled and primary lines – for listing adjectives.
★ 1 Visual step-by-step direction page for taking a picture on the iPad.
★ 1 Anchor chart about Adjectives
You will need the free app Dictionary and the paid app WordFoto. A QR code to download the apps from the iTunes store is included in this packet. I try very hard to make my packets using only free apps, but WordFoto is just too cool of an app to pass up. I have adjusted the price of this packet to reflect that. This packet does NOT include the app – you will need to purchase it yourself.
Since my products all utilize free web and app resources, there may be rare times that the technology does not work as planned, which may be out of my control. Please be sure to message me in the Q&A section so I can assist you before leaving feedback. I use all of the apps that I base my packets on frequently and will update products as the apps themselves update.
