iPad St Patricks Day spelling and word work activity. Use 52 task cards for word work centers and to practice spelling on the free iPad app Pic Collage.
Easily integrate this low prep iPad app activity into your St. Patrick's Day word study, spelling, word work or reading centers.
Here is how it works:
Students will first scan the included QR code to download a Leprechaun head - there are 3 skin tones for students to choose from. Students upload the head to Pic Collage. Finally students select a task card and use the rule on the card to create a beard for their Leprechaun using text in PicCollage.
Since students can make a different Leprechaun each time, you can use this center more than once.
★ 6 student friendly step-by-step visual direction pages for completing the activity independently on the free app PicCollage.
★ 1 QR code that links to 3 skin-tone choices of "Leprechaun head" .png images.
★ 1 PicCollage unwrAPPed ready reference with the basic buttons displayed.
★ 16 task cards to review grammar: parts of speech, number words, names, and more.
★ 32 word study task cards that ask students to use words with various common vowel patterns, blends, diagraphs, prefixes, suffixes, and syllable types or words from their own lists.
★ 4 just for fun word study task cards that ask students to list St Patricks Day words, things that are green, spring words, or reasons they are lucky.
You will need the free apps Pic Collage and a QR reader app. A clickable QR code for the app Pic Collage is included.
Since my products all utilize free web and app resources, there may be rare times that the technology does not work as planned, which may be out of my control. Please be sure to message me in the Q&A section so I can assist you before leaving feedback. I use all of the apps that I base my packets on frequently and will update products as the apps themselves update.
