Description
iPod Learning ~ Musical Note Names 1
Musical Notes on the Treble & Bass Clefs in 4 folders: Treble Clef (Lines), Treble Clef (Spaces), Bass Clef (Lines) and Bass Clef (Spaces). See folder structure below.
After loading songs onto an iPod, student can VIEW & HEAR a Musical Note and try to say its name before a voice announces the note name.
Student can do all notes in order (lines then spaces from low to high), or "shuffle" to randomize, or, do all notes in order (or randomize) within a folder ("Bass Clef Spaces" or "Treble Clef" {lines & spaces} for example).
This randomization is only limited by iPods ability to "shuffle" songs - i.e. almost endless!!
Sample file works exactly like the one available for purchase and has all folders but only 2 notes in each.
Easy to implement: Download zip file > unzip onto HD > then, see below:
IMPORT SONGS INTO iTunes:
File > Add to Library > choose Folder of songs
(iTunes will put the songs into the right place, i.e. Artist, Album, Genre, ...)
LOAD SONGS ONTO iPod:
Connect iPod to computer > Select songs in iTunes > drag songs to "Music" on iPod
(iTunes will put the songs into the right place, i.e. Artist, Album, Genre, ...)
SETTING UP THE iPod for Learning
Settings > Shuffle > Off
(You can still shuffle within an album)
Settings > Repeat > All
(If you want to go through an album more than once {for example, playing all night long @ low volume for "subliminal learning"} or for "Probability" titles)
Settings > Playback > Audio Crossfade > Off
Settings > General > Backlight > Always On
(So you can see the "Album Artwork" which is the visual learning/clue/answer)
Settings > General > Brightness > Minimum
(To conserve battery - doesn't affect the "Album Artwork")
