John Chapman (aka "Johnny Appleseed") was an American nurseryman who is well-known for growing apple trees. Johnny Appleseed was born in the eighteenth century, in the month of September which happens to be the time apples are harvested! This is a printable booklet about John Chapman who is commonly known as Johnny Appleseed. The classroom teacher can use this for a read aloud. Copies can also be printed so the students can have their own copy of the book to take home and share with their families. There are a total of four sheets to print for each book.
