Kindness Nation Collaboration Poster
: Teach your students kindness, empathy, and compassion for others using this collaboration poster. Pair it with your own Martin Luther King Jr.
activities and turn it into a lesson about cultural diversity and inclusiveness. This #kindnessnation art project visually illustrates the concept of multiculturalism by joining many cultures, or pieces of the puzzle, into one.
★★★You Will Receive:★★★
• Page 1: Dice game
• Page 2: Step-by-step picture tutorial and directions
• Pages 3 - 6: Poster Pages
Simply print out the game and picture directions back-to-back, give them dice, and watch them have fun collaborating to create a Martin Luther King Jr. inspired collaboration poster.
You will design a Kindness Nation poster by rolling the die and collecting the different patterns required to create it. First, print out all the pages. Next, roll the die to select the first pattern from the first column and draw it on one of the sleeve cuffs. Roll the die three more times, drawing each selected pattern on one of the other cuffs. Using crayons or markers, color everything. Outline all the patterns using black crayon or marker. Then cut out all the pieces carefully and tape them together on the back. Display your poster on your classroom door or in the hallway to encourage kindness throughout your school.
