Last is a math and science integrated activity. Students will go outside to analyze mulch, grass, and blacktop surfaces for living and nonliving things. An organizer is provided to draw, write, and tally their findings. They will then transfer that information to a graph. Both a labeled and blank graph are provided for differentiation.
