There are two pages here that are two different versions of the same simple assignment. If the student understands the concept, it could take her 1 minute-really. "1 minute"
This is designed for students that are learning chores and that have learned about verb conjugation but that may still be learning to grasp and apply the concept of conjugation.
I use this format as a homework assignment (not all homework has to be hard) that students tend to find rewarding because it's almost like not having homework...if you understand it. It allows me to quickly identify those who can't match conjugated verbs to subject pronouns. One version of the assignment could be homework and the next version could be an easy pop quiz, or version 2 could be a makeup version of the assignment.
As for use of class time, I say 10 minutes--if you read and correct it in class with students, or follow up with a rewarding pop quiz.
*There are btw two correct answers (two subject pronouns that could use the same verb) and therefore two correct solutions to the homework.
