The mCLASS 3D Reading Assessment includes a writing component. In order to conserve paper and make grading this component more efficient, I have retyped each text’s prompts on one page. I have also included a space for scoring each prompt, a space for giving an overall score, and a space for the assessor’s name and homeroom teacher’s name. This has helped me tremendously because I found myself using a lot of unnecessary copy paper with prompts and two separate pages. It has also allowed my scoring to be more organized because I my pages now have spaces for actually putting scores. I hope this is helpful to you also. Good luck with your testing!
