Numeral naming practice sheets are designed to to provide students with fast, repetitive practice with numeral naming. Instead of a student saying a numeral once, he/she says it up to five times within a given sheet. When students practice number recognition skills with flash cards and other materials, the educator is required to turn the cards as the student names the numerals. The time spent in turning cards consumes valuable seconds. Numeral naming sheets save instructional time.
These practice sheets are for the numerals 0 through 20. They will would work well with your RTI activities. The practice sheets are designed for one-on-one or small group instruction. They could also be used with a paired learning activity.
3 to 5 numerals are targeted within each page. The numerals are presented at least 5 times on the sheets. The animal faces serve as prompts for children to stay with the correct row of numerals when numeral recognition practice is taking place.
You are receiving both a BLACK ink version as well as an identical COLOR ink version of the pages with the exception of the assessment materials that come to you in black ink.
