This EDITABLE 4 page worksheet asks students to review basic concepts in acids, bases, neutralization, pH scale, etc. The first part asks students to go around to several stations (each containing a different solution) and asks students to measure the pH of each using litmus paper. Students place their substances on the pH number line provided. **NOTE: The teacher needs to set this part up before class, and can change the amount and type of substances used based on what they have available**
The analysis questions are free response, and the check for understanding includes multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the blank, identifying and free response questions. The second part as in-class practice, homework or an exam review. ANSWER KEY INCLUDED.
I have included a PDF and a Word document, so you can feel free to modify and differentiate to meet your classroom and students' needs. Enjoy!
