This is a great tool to begin teaching about paragraph structure for non-fiction. Simply reproduce the copies and have the student work with a partner to sort the pieces that you have precut. Each paragraph is 6 sentences long.
I have provided the paragraph template they can use to glue the pieces onto. The other option is to write these onto larger sentence strips and do as a whole group for the ones with reading difficulties.
These activities really help get my students ready to write on their own, once they begin to identify the parts of a paragraph.
