pick IT-flip IT-solve IT is an activity that allows students to practice work with basic factoring through a self-check method while staying mobile (to keep those brain juices flowing).
The activity includes 18 basic factoring problems where each student begins with a different problem. Each answer leads the student to a new problem. This allows the students to work through the system at their own pace while receiving immediate feedback.
Problems included in this activity will require students factor basic trinomials without a leading coefficient. Some problems will require the students to factor out a negative to start. One problem is non-factorable.
