This is a set of 25 patterned mats that are so awesome for your science centers. Use playdough, rocks, pompoms, flat bottom glass beads, bingo chips, tiny backsplash tiles, jewels, small pinecones, small twigs, sunflower seeds, or any other loose parts you can think of. Your students, children will get so much enjoyment out of this. Great for extended patterning, spatial awareness, fine motor skills and aligns with STEM initiatives in the classroom. I personally like to laminate these with magnets for the back to place out on cookie sheets and put a selection of loose parts on a subdivided/sectioned plastic tray. The frames are in full-color, but you could certainly print this in black/white or gray scale for ECO-ink options.
Tip: Multi-task these by offering them for coloring, then you can place them in plastic protectors to extend the activity with manipulatives or loose parts. Many options to consider and endless sensory opportunities here with this set.
The pdf watermarked preview will allow you to see some of the intricate details of this set when you zoom in, so be sure to check it out.
