These free power points have bee done by teachers doing the Independent spelling form foundation course.

It is suggested that this series of power points be done as a warm up to spelling and writing. This series of power points is designed to: - help teach children listen to the initial sound in a word, expand children's vocabulary and teach that if you can take a picture of something the word is a noun. The child says the sound, writes the sound and reads the sound. The slides are in the developmental sequence that fits with Independent spelling stars fro foundation. I hope you find them valuable!
