Extremely thorough and covers all of the important points from our CKLA Domain covered in Grade 2. It is NOT an all out summary of the Civil War and all that occurred if someone is trying to teach that, but to align with our 2nd grade curriculum, it's fantastic! Great resource to review this material!

Your powerpoint lacks recognition of other African Americans during this time. Not sure if this is an accurate summary of the Civil War. It also leaves out fact that slavery went on for two hundred years and this was a prelude to it all.
Just looked through the Ppt. and it looks wonderful. I will enjoy using it with my class. Thank you.
