This lesson is an introduction to Reading like a writer. It explains the difference in ways to read a text with an analogy at the beginning of the lesson. The slides are titled: analogy, why reading like a writer is important, reading as reader's first, reading like a writer, notice/name the craft, form a theory, explore other authors, and your own writing. This is adapted from many different resources on reading like a writer and goes through the steps of reading like a writer. This can be used over and over for different types of writing.
