PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Small groups: Count the class into groups of 4. Give each group a large piece of paper and 3 different colored markers. Have them list as many relationships on one half of the paper. Once they have listed as many as they can go over them as a class but keep the students in groups. Ask the students what relationships have the biggest impacts in their lives right now. On the other half of the paper, in their groups have them describe as many characteristics of a positive relationship and a negative relationship that they can. Once they are finished, discuss as a class what each group came up with. Ask the students if they would rather be in a positive or negative relationship and why. Back in their small groups, have the students come up with ways to improve each type of relationship based on the positive and negative characteristics they came up with. Discuss as a class when each group is finished.
