Product Description
Speech Therapy: “Fluency, Intelligibility, and Categories Activity.” This activity was created for the purpose of working with students in a speech therapy room to target fluency, intelligibility, and even category goals! The repetitive and rote nature of this activity is great for speech therapy practice. In addition, there is a great vocabulary component to this activity.
This packet includes:
In my bedroom, I have a … (with 18 pictures with words)
In the sky, I see … (with 18 pictures with words)
In the ocean, I see … (with 18 pictures with words)
At the zoo, I see … (with 18 pictures with words)
At the farm, I see … (with 18 pictures with words)
In my classroom, I see … (with 18 pictures with words)
At my school, I see … (with 18 pictures with words)

This activity, is pretty self-explanatory and easy to use. Whatever the speech therapy goal is for your student, use your therapy technique with this activity. For example, if you are working on fluency, use whatever technique you prefer (for example, “light contacts”). The child will use strategy taught to say “In my bedroom, I see a bed.” Move to each picture on the page, or just the ones that the child wishes to say. If the child has an intelligibility goal, again, use your technique with this activity for the child to speak clearly, loudly, and slowly. If the child has a category goal, this activity is great for introducing vocabulary by category.
