/sh/ Digraph & /st/ Blend
A fun, unique, teacher-made game!
Kids will enjoy sorting words with pictures that are missing either the /sh/ digraph or /st/ blend. Some words will have the digraphs and blends missing at the beginning and some will have it missing at the ends of the words.
Each game will include 12 picture/word cards. Also included will by two large envelopes with a clouds on each and either /sh/ or /st/.
A worksheet is also included that can be copied to make additional for your classroom or laminated (by you) to use for dry erase. The directions on the worksheet are to first write the missing letters (either /sh/ or /st/) for all 12 words they sorted. Then, draw a line from the word to the matching picture on the right side of the worksheet.
Also included is a small, laminated, envelope to store the 12 picture/word cards. The envelope has a small piece of Velcro for convenient closure and storage.
All of the items above will be stored in a 11.5’’ x 9.5’’ plastic envelope for lasting durability. The large envelope will vary in color and may not match the color in the picture. However, all large
storage envelopes will have a Velcro or string closure.
The outside of the plastic storage envelope will have kid-friendly directions with picture icons to help with understanding.
The picture/word cards are printed on heavy-duty cardstock with colored ink AND laminated! The cardstock may vary in color, but will always be heavy-duty and laminated!

All games are great for use as independent work centers, working with a parent-helper, working with a paraprofessional, or working in peer pairs. Each game is designed for both general and special education!

All games are great for in-home use as well! They are great for use during spring break, summer break, holiday breaks, and as additional help or as homework!
Kids will enjoy working on reading and identifying missing blends and digraphs with the fun graphics and worksheet .
