This is a great list of test taking strategies. I have used this before state testing, at the beginning of the school year and in resource room. It includes ideas like:
1.) Read test directions carefully and thoroughly. If the test includes multiple sections, be sure to read each set of directions.
2.) Read each question carefully to determine its meaning. Make sure you know what the question is asking before you begin to answer.
3.) Anticipate the answer before looking at the choices. If your answer is one of the choices, it is probably correct.
I have also underlined key terms and included a student worksheet where they can fill in those key terms for extra practice.
