The 'th flash cards' have two sides that provide learners with different opportunities to show what they know.
The 'green side' has dot/dash markers under each letter/digraph to provide learner with an opportunity to point to and make letter/digraph sound for each individual letter/digraph in word. The 'white side' shows the whole word without markers providing learner with an opportunity to read the word as a whole.
All documents are black and white. The 'green side' must be printed on coloured paper and the 'white side' printed on white paper. Both coloured and white paper are glued together to make one document that is cut and laminated to create the 'Double Sided Flash Cards'.
* See the free document 'Instructions: How to Make Double Sided Flash Cards' in my TPT Store for more details.
'th Posters' are created in colour. The 'green poster' lists words which contain the th digraph and letters that follow the most common letter sound relationship (sounds found in cvc words). This poster can be used as part of phonic instruction and contains words that learners can decode/read.
The 'purple poster' lists words which contain the th sound at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. This poster can be used to develop phonological awareness and will contain words learners will not be able to read. The 'purple poster' is for the teacher to reference and works in partnership with the attached PowerPoint. Posters are A4.
The 'th PowerPoint' is editable so font/text can be changed or removed. The PowerPoint consist of photos that represent words which contain the th digraph. These words are the same words used in the 'purple poster' discussed above.
