Level 2 is for students who have a basic understanding of addition. The students can use the dots on the dice to help them solve the task card. They can also use the equation to solve the task card. The plus sign is used so that the students can practice their understanding of basic addition and the math symbols that are used when combining groups of objects.

Level 3 is for students who have an extended understanding of addition. The students can view the dots on the dice and then choose the correct equation on the task card. This can provide practice for the students in the areas of counting on and subitizing.
