Product Description
Lecture: Begin by reminding the students of the circles of sexuality. Ask them if they remember what any are. Explain to them that we will be discussing the Sensuality circle and its components. Discuss with the students what sensuality is and how it deals with our 5 senses. Also go over body image and self-esteem.

Small groups: Pass out the “sensuality Likert Scale” (online) to each of the students. The groups should be mixed gender and contain between 2-4 students. Each student will receive their own sheet. The students will be discovering their feeling about their overall self-esteem and body image while filling this out. Remind the students that they must finish their own sheet entirely because it will be collected for grading at the end of the class.

Discussion: Gather the student’s attention to the front of the room. Ask the females what they scored the lowest on within the Likert Scale by a show of hands. Then ask the males. Next, ask the males what they scored the highest on by a show of hands, followed by the females. Tally the replies on the board as a visual for the students. This will help initiate a discussion based on the trends they see. Ask the students questions such as whether females or males have more pressures when it comes to body image and self-esteem. Also ask the students what ways are there to help improve their ratings on the Likert Scale.

Small groups: Break the students back into groups, but this time everyone in the group should be the same gender. The groups will make 2 lists, one list will be parts of the body that they like about their gender, and the other list will be parts of the body they don’t like. Remind them to be respectful and mature. Once they have completed their list, they will create another list of celebrities that they think are attractive and explain what makes them so attractive.
