Vocubes are one of my favorite ways to practice vocabulary! These vocubes would be used at the end of Unit 1, book 1.
Step 1: Print the vocubes on cardstock (You may or may not want to laminate)
Step 2 : Cut out the individual triangles and put them in a zip-lock baggie. (I make 15 sets, and then my students work on them with partners)
Step 3: Give out one baggie per group of 2 kids.
Step 4: Explain that the goal is to create a hexagon of vocabulary that has English words matching up with their French translations. If a triangle has a line on one side instead of a word, that means it's an edge piece.
Step 5 : I usually give a prize (whatever you want) to the first two groups to finish and have it 100% correct.
This PDF file contains two pages : the first page is directions for the teacher (so you don't have to print this TPT page) and the second page is the vocube game.
