Concentration (A Memory Game) (Pages 3-4)
Students take turns choosing two cards at a time. If they match the picture to the word they keep the cards, if it is not a match then they lay them back down.
Build a Word (Pages 5-9)
Fold on the dotted line to hide how to spell the word and secure with paperclip. Students will look at the picture and use either magnet letters or letter cards to build the hidden word. After they make the word, they can open the flap and check if they made it correctly.
Words for the Week (Pages 10-12)
These are words that are used throughout the packet and can be posted in your room for students to reference.
Word Sort (Pages 13-15)
Students will sort the words and record them.
Write the Room (16-20)
Place the word cards around the room. Students will take their recording sheets and find and record all the words.

Students will roll a dice. The number they roll is the word family they will use to record a “y, ie, and igh” word.
