TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching science and creating my own lessons and curriculums for the last 12 years. In that time, I have taught, Physical and General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Anatomy and an Art class! I am currently the department chair in my school I look forward to bringing my ideas to this platform to share with you!

My teaching style is three dimensional, with a focus on overall understanding. I am always creating instruction which emphasizes integration of multiple pieces of information to better understand scientific phenomena. I bring an artistic and visual way of thinking and learning to my science instruction and lesson development.

I am an artist at heart and apply my scope of seeing the world visually, to all of my lessons and teaching endeavors. I also enjoy hiking and backpacking, cooking and making art. I live in Rhode Island with my wonderful husband and 2 adorable muppet like dogs.
