TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my 11th year of teaching English, Language Arts, and Reading. My career so far has encompassed everything from 7th - 12th grade, reading, writing, English, ESL, sheltered instruction, and working with home schooled students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a firm believer in whoever is working is the one who is learning. Focusing on mini-lessons to teach a concept and then giving the students the opportunity to apply those skills while being available to confer while students are learning is the best way to encourage independence and cooperative learning in the classroom.
