Vickie is a Speech Language Pathologist in Ohio. She provides teletherapy within the state of Ohio. With a passionate interest in the area of phonology, phonemic processing and language based reading disabilities, Vickie is the author of the book "20 Minute Phonemic Training for Dyslexia, Auditory Processing and Spelling" published in 2017. It is available internationally at Amazon.com. Vickie continues to work privately with a small caseload of struggling readers and writers using the strategies outlined in her book. She also writes a blog for www.20MinutePhonemicTraining.com After retiring from public schools, with many ideas, she decided it was time to re-purpose some of her own creations to share. Look for many new products in her store in the coming months.
Teletherapy as a medium for service delivery is a new evolving area. Vickie is on board delivering services using this medium. Materials she creates and uses are interactive and engaging. Therapy and instruction are peppered with humor and encouragement.

She was privileged to take short courses [1-3 days in length] from Dr. Elizabeth Wiig, Nanci Bell [of Lindamood-Bell], Dr. Wayne Secord, Dr. Kenn Apel, Dr. Jan Wasowicz, David Daly, and Charlotte Bochart; to name only a few of the people considered among the best of the best in our field.
