MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

University of Memphis 1973 - 1977

Teaching runs in my family! I'm proud to say that my grandmother and mother were teachers in Memphis City Schools. I "had the genes", and followed in my mother's footsteps, becoming a teacher when I was 20 years old. I have taught continuously since then, loving every minute of my job and its challenges, until January 2016; I finally retired from my career of 38 years. However, I will always be a teacher. at heart and that's why I enjoy TpT so much. It provides a way for me to continue reaching students, and create engaging materials that I believe will provide essential practice in Math and Language Arts. My resources are challenging as well as fun, but it's the challenges in life that lead us to grow, as will students when they are challenged in the classroom. Thank you for allowing me to provide resources for your students. Anna Diehl
