This 2013-2014 was my first year teaching in my own classroom in fourth grade. It was an amazing experience and I wouldn't change it for the world. I went back to school to get my Master in education after not being able to get the job I wanted after I graduated with a degree in Interior Design. I completed my student teaching in Kindergarten and I also worked as a paraprofessional working with first and third graders.
I would say my teaching style is organized and informative. I try my best to provide the students with the structure that they need to be able to thrive in a fun learning environment. I enjoy teaching different subjects, so that the students get a varied perspective view from me as a person.
I haven't taught long enough for an award, but maybe someday one will come :)
I received my bachelor of science from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, TN in Interior Design. Then I completed my Masters of Arts in Elementary Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
I am working towards my MRS. degree hopefully will land that one next summer (meaning I will be getting married next June). I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend of almost two years. I am also a dog lover. I have a West Highland Terrier his name is Duncan and a Maltese named Max. Between all those men folk and teaching I am pretty busy. I also spend my free time playing tennis on an USTA league.
