I have taught for sixteen years in a variety of grade levels and socio-economic levels. I have enjoyed all grade levels that I have taught, and am enjoying my current work as an elementary school counselor! I have a B.S.I.S. from Midwestern State University,a Master's in Technology Integration from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master's of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. I have also worked as a Campus Technology Integration Facilitator, and have presented at local and regional conferences. I enjoy working with peers and students! They both provide new sets of challenges.
I used a variety of teaching styles in my classroom. I employed the use of many products, as well as, contracts, layered curriculum and activities menus. I think a good balance of teacher direction and student choice is beneficial to student learning and achievement.
