I wanted to create a hands on experience for LA students. This activity is similar to a science lab, where students get to write about hands on experiences. They really get into this lesson and cannot wait for the big reveal!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my eleventh year of teaching middle school. I got my under grad degree in elementary education with the idea that I wanted to teach upper elementary but got the middle school endorsement to make myself more marketable. For my first job I got hired as a 6th grade teacher but due to switching of roles in the school, I got placed into an 8th grade classroom. Although I was worried at first, I ended up loving middle school students! None the less I am an elementary teacher at heart and still weave some of that into my lessons!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to use creativity and unique experiences to keep my students on their toes and hopefully interested!
