TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 1st grade for 5 years and absolutely love it! Before that, I student taught in 2nd grade. I have also worked with students from all grades in after school programs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to let the students do as much as they can on their own so they have a hand in their learning process! I also like to find fun ways to help them learn, whether it's through music or art or technology.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

The biggest honor that I have ever had as a teacher has been when parents tell me that I have changed their child's attitude about school and learning - that is the whole reason that I became a teacher!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Associate of Pre-Teacher Education - 2005 at SLCC Bachelor's of Science, Elementary Education - 2008 at U of U Master's of Education, Learning and Technology - 2012 at WGU
