I started as a high school Spanish teacher before moving overseas to teach English. I loved it so much that I decided to teach ESL/ESOL at home in the United States. I have taught English at the elementary and high school level as well as adult education. I have also spent three years as an Assessment Specialist for English Language Learners in grades K-12.
I like a classroom to be student centered as much as possible, with lots of movement, conversation and fun. I believe in providing a classroom with a low affective filter where students feel comfortable speaking and sharing with others, and motivated and encouraged to do their best.
