TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After a delightful student teaching experience in first and fourth grades, I became an aide in a learning support classroom where I learned more about the beautiful ins and outs of students with disabilities than I could ever begin to imagine sitting in a college classroom. From there, I became a 3rd grade teacher where I have been teaching for the past 6 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

While teaching at a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon school, I became a teacher that incorporates appropriate rigor, differentiation, technology, and of course fun! Also being certified to teach Art, I strive to incorporate creative outlets while providing meaningful learning activities.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Nominated for technology excellence within my school district. My elementary school also was awarded the Blue Ribbon of Excellence while I was on staff.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelors of Science from Grove City College, Pennsylvania. Master's in Elementary Education, Early Childhood from California University of Pennsylvania

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Having always been passionate about my students, I am now blessed to be passionate about my two beautiful daughters.
