A great way for students to review math skills covered in a semester. In my classroom we used it during center time. Students used clock faces, rulers, counters, and student reference books to help them with the booklet.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Social Science endorsement. I also have achieved a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. When I began my teaching career, I taught in a 6th, 7th, 8th grade inner city middle school. Upon moving to Wellington, I countinued at the middle school level for two additional years before transferring to the elementary level. At Eisenhower Elementary School I have taught 4th grade, fifth grade, and am now teaching 3rd grade. I love that each day is a chance for me to see learning first hand from the eye's of a child. There is nothing better then that in my opinion.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to use a variety of techniques, strategies, and approaches in my classroom. I tend to see the best results when learning is centered around student discovery and in an enviroment that encourages everyone involved. In my opinion, all things should be believed to be possible for the best results.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am the proud mom of LOTS of school kiddos and of two of my very own children. I am beyond proud that both of my children are attending college pursuing degrees in edcuation themselves. My son, Ryan, is currently enrolled at Newman University on a baseball scholarship and my daughter, Kailey, is currently enrolled at Friends University on a softball scholarship. My husband and I love following them and their teams. I have to send out a huge "Go Jets" and "Go Falcons" before signing off or I wouldn't be doing my MOM duties!
