In my eleven years of teaching, I have experienced a number of positions at a number of different grades in a number of different districts and states: Fourth Grade Teacher, Computer Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Substitute Teacher (2nd, 3rd, High School!!!), Third Grade Teacher, Reading Intervention Tutor, Instructional Coach, and now a Reading Specialist!! All of this experience has refined me as an educator, helping me through my Masters degree. It continues to propel me through daily interactions, lessons, and support of teachers and students from Kindergarten to the Fifth Grade level!
My teaching style is a combination of PBS, student goal-setting, small groups, and engaging centers and projects. If I can't sit still for 8 hours, how on Earth can I expect that out of the little kiddos in my classroom? We hold high expectations, we make mistakes, we forgive, and we learn more and more each day!

I love my God, my husband, my sons, my family and friends, my church family, my school staff, and my daily coffee! Oh, and every now and then a donut or two!! The MAIN reason for opening up my own TPT store is because there are three boys sitting over in the Ukraine craving a loving family of their own! After a six-week summer hosting program, our hearts formed bonds that God continues to strengthen. Through obedience and prayer, we are moving forward with the adoption process. What better way to help support our fundraising efforts than to put a few items in a store and pray that these "little somethings" will not only help other teachers and students like they have helped me in my classrooms, but also help us on one of the biggest journeys of faith that our family has ever been on! Thank you for supporting our adoption process - and for making a way for this to be possible!! xo
