TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my fourth year of teaching. My first year I taught 7th Grade Life Science and 9th Grade Biology and AP Biology. The following two years, I taught Biology to all grade levels. This year I am currently teaching Biology and Environmental Science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is hands-on and project/lab based. I believe that students learn best when they are learning about concepts that relate to what they will/do experience outside of school. As a result, I try to make sure my lessons are centered on some real-world problem that the students can relate to.
