ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I started this site as a way to fund a mission trip to visit orphans in Rwanda. I had no idea I would actually make enough money to do it! In the summer of 2013 I traveld across the world and from the moment I walked into the orphange, my life was changed forever. We went to share the love of God and to love on the kids, hoping to make a difference. However, amidst the extreme poverty, dirt, and malnutrition, I found kids full of love and joy. They changed me for the better From this experience, a small group of our team started a ministry called Imana Kids (Visit ImanaKids.org). So far we have sponsored almost 150 kids for boarding school and have helped to shut down the orphanage. Our next big dream is to start "Hope Village" with a school, clinic, church, and family style housing. It has been a blessing to be able to serve my kids in Rwanda in addition to serving my students during the school year. My mission is to love and serve children throughout the world. This site has been so helpful in helping me continue my mission!
