I am currently in my fourth year of teaching in New York City. My first three years were spent teaching 2nd grade in the South Bronx. During which time I worked on curriculum for grades K-5 and tutored students in grades 3-5. I am now teaching 5th grade Nonfiction Reading in a middle school in West Harlem.
I am a high energy teacher who creates lessons that incorporate as many learning modalities as possible.
I double majored in Political Science and Music at the University of Central Florida. I then received my Masters in Childhood Education through Teacher U at Hunter College in NYC.
