Masters Degree, Curriculum and Instruction, 1982 • University of Toledo—Toledo, Ohio Minnesota Teaching License • 1-6, ALL (Elementary Education), Middle School Life Sciences, Earth & Space Science, English/Language Arts, and Social Studies. I taught for 12 years in Ohio, 14 years in Minnesota and presently am the Director of Curriculum, Training and Instruction for Freedom Consulting,LLC in Spokane, WA

MY TEACHING STYLE

Strengths-based. I love everything about learning & teaching. Topics related to education excite me! I believe my greatest strength is how much I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, abilities and ages. I love bringing out the best in people and helping them discover their own personal learning styles and strengths. I try diligently to be upbeat, inspirational, and positive in all that I do! Encouraging individuals to not give up is what I like best!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am a lifelong learner, teacher and people motivator. Passing on the flame and excitement of learning and motivation is what I do! Whether it is helping individuals with disabilities find long-term competitive employment, writing specialized plans to help these individuals succeed, supervising University clinical MSW students or student teachers, or my own colleagues, I strive to do everything in fun, inspirational and contagious ways! (And I am quite successful at it!)
