I've had the privilege of teaching in urban environments throughout Michigan. I have absolutely fallen in love with the at-risk student. I have taught Kindergarten and 2nd-4th grades.
Hands on learning is the name of the game! Teaching should be an engaging process that help students connect the material to the world that they live in. I am an advocate of tapping into all of the learning styles throughout the day; that way none of my students are overlooked.
