I am a passionate advocate for high ability and gifted students, and for their teachers. Having worked in many different settings with colleagues who have struggled to find time, resources and support for their work with high ability students, I've learned a lot about how to help. I have tried and tested ideas in response to the individual needs, interests and abilities of students, as well as teachers. My aim is to ensure learning activities match the thinking and learning capacities of highly able learners. For teachers, I know practical, user-friendly and evidence-based materials can make a world of difference - enriching their classrooms but also their own professional development.
