I have been teaching since 1998, beginning part-time at a Michigan Community College, then working full-time at a private college. I taught a variety of sciences: Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry. I became Dean of Health and Human Services, developing programs as well as teaching. I have developed curriculum for the City of Seattle (weatherization training and composite training) as well as for Washington State SEIU (homecare aid training). I enjoy being in the classroom best and currently work in North Carolina in a very poor, rural county. I teach General Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. My goal is student success, which I work very hard at by developing and using activities in the classroom.
I bring activities to the classroom daily! These help the students learn the material better, at least that is what I hear from the students.
