TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 17th year teaching Grade Five. My focus the past few years has been the integration of Reader's and Writer's Workshop, Technology Integration, and Math Workshop. I feel I have been trained by the best in the Boston area and am working hard to adopt their practices into my classroom daily.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to integrate technology as much as possible into the classroom learning experience. When teaching I would be lost without my laptop and Promethean board. I try to bring in interactive games, primary documents, photos, and video into every lesson to enrich the meaning for students.
