I'm CEO here at TpT. It's the best job in the world. I am inspired and energized every day by the amazing work and creativity of our Teacher-Authors. Together, we help every educator, everywhere in the world, to teach at his or her personal best. Before TpT, I was the COO of Etsy.com and the head of Google's international product management and international online sales operations groups. I'm also the co-chair of the board of the Brooklyn Children's Museum.
Listen, listen, listen. Ask, ask, ask. I'm not a teacher, but this is my philosophy in life. Ask and listen first. Then act.

I grew up in L.A. where I went for all 12 years to schools in the L.A. Unified School District. Then I studied Linguistics at Harvard and got a funky degree from Yale Law School called a "Masters in the Study of Law". Suffice it to say, I have that diploma from Yale, but I can't practice anything even remotely legal with it.
I live in Brooklyn with my family and our dog. I also speak about ten languages -- so New York is like a living listening lab for me every day.
