TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After two years as a preschool teacher, two years of one-on-one tutoring with elementary-age students, and a semester in an 11th grade AP English Language class in a Title I school, I am completing my final internship with eighth grade gifted and talented students. I will be teaching in Tallahassee this upcoming fall.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer student-centered teaching. I believe that students learn best from doing as much as they can hands-on. My lessons are intended to get students thinking critically, collaborating, expressing creativity and moving around when possible.
