I am an "old school" teacher and still believe that students need to complete "pencil and paper" activities when learning. However, I love creating activities that incorporate this and FUN!

I live (and grew up in) in Cumberland, Maryland, with my husband. He is a college football coach (Defensive Coordinator), so we both deal with the education system which makes us a great support for each other. We have a wonderful and active two year old daughter who brightens every day of our lives! She was the best Christmas gift that either of us had ever received! We have a dog, named Bailey. He more closely resembles a dust mop instead of a dog, but we love him. He likes to play fetch and is often quite jealous of the schoolwork on my lap. We are very fortunate that he allows us to live in his house, or this is, at least, how he sees it! I love the following quote: "Most of us (other people) end up with no more than five or six people who remember us. Teachers have thousands of people who remember them for the rest of their lives."
