I love third grade! I have taught 3rd grade since 2011. I have worked with 2nd and 4th grades as a guided reading teacher, tutor, and summer school teacher. I am so grateful that I was called to teach and that my career is also my hobby and passion.
Engagement is the name of the game! I love to engage my students with hands-on, authentic, critical thinking lessons. I use interactive activities, games, and inquiry based learning in my own classroom and in my products. As a third grade teacher, I have embarked on a quest to best prepare my students for testing, while emphasizing authentic learning and fun!
