I have been in education close to ten years! First as a one to one special education aide in a kindergarten setting, and then as a first grade teacher for three and a half years. I have been teaching second for two and a half years and will be moving to third in the fall of 2015!
I enjoy project based learning and follow the workshop model for both reading and writing. STEM has been a wonderful addition to my classroom this year.

I graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Psychology, received my K-5 Certification in both General and Special Ed with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Montclair State University and now I am currently in the process of obtaining my LDTC Certification from the same university. I, like my students, never stop learning! :)
I never stop thinking about school - my students, my classroom or my own teaching practice.
